 | Leslie Vietmeier, ARNP, our Nurse Practitioner | My goal is to create an environment where patients are active and interactive participants in their health care. I hope to promote optimal wellness at every age and stage of life, with respect for each person's ideas, diversity, and life situation.
I am an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) with Board Certification in Family Practice (FNP). I received my Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Washington, having returned to school after working as a registered nurse (RN) since 1985.

I have been providing primary care to families in Seattle for over 14 years. Women, adolescents, and families with young children make up the majority of my practice, but I see patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. I have my own panel of patients, and also see patients for both Dr. Graunke and Dr. Starkebaum when they are not available, as they will also see my patients in my absence.
Volunteering and being part of the community are important to me. I am on the clinical faculty for the University of Washington School of Nursing, and also medical advisor to the Medical Assistant Program at North Seattle Community College. I have been a Camp Fire USA leader for over fifteen years, am active with PTA, and participate in many other community activities. I am a Seattle native, growing up in the Ballard area and now live in Shoreline. I enjoy organic gardening, yoga, reading, outdoor activities, and hanging out with my kids.
I look forward to meeting you, your family and friends. I always welcome referrals from current patients and specialty providers in the community.
